God’s plan involves stewarding those gifts for His glory. Ask Him to show you how to use your passions and talents to honor Him.

Sometimes God’s plans surprise us. You may anticipate getting married or entering a certain career, only to have your life take an unexpected turn. But we can trust God’s alternate routes. As Isaiah 55:8-9 (ESV) acknowledges, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Trust that God sees the complete picture.

As Proverbs 16:9 (ESV) expresses, “The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” We make our own plans, but the Lord guides each step. 5. Examine your circumstances – Look at the people, resources, and opportunities God has placed around you. How can you serve right where you are?

At times, it can be challenging to understand God’s plan when you go through difficult circumstances that don’t seem to make sense. Financial strain, job loss, illness, infertility, singleness, and other trials may tempt you to doubt God’s wisdom and question if He really has your best interest in mind. But we have the promise that “for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28 ESV).

– Ask God to deepen your trust in Him. Faith is a gift from Him.

– Keep seeking God in prayer and Scripture, asking Him to meet you in your pain. He often speaks in whispers when our situations are shouting.
– Wait patiently on God’s timing, knowing He promises to complete the good work He started in you (Philippians 1:6).

Walk closely with Jesus, yield to the Spirit’s leading, love others, and serve God wherever He has placed you right now. Your current season is part of His greater plan.
